What We Do
Who is a Fiduciary?
Professional fiduciaries are people who provide critical services to seniors, persons with disabilities, and children. They manage matters for clients including daily care, housing and medical needs, and also offer financial management services ranging from basic bill paying to estate and investment management.
Licensed in California, our fiduciaries are required to pass the statutory examination, complete approved education courses, and stay up to date with annual continuing education. These requirements ensure we serve our clients competently and according to the ethical standards of our profession.
As people age or have physical and mental changes, sometimes they need help to organize and maintain their resources. They often need help with their affairs as they face a medical challenge or a change in life circumstances. Mia’s Fiduciary Services works with our clients to protect their resources and retain their independence and dignity.
Perhaps you or your loved ones need someone to take on some of the day-to-day decisions … maybe you need someone to help you arrange for long-term financial planning … We can help.
Our Philosophy
We aim to safeguard the well-being of our clients. Our team is committed to supporting people to stay in their homes as they age or as their needs change.
Whether our clients are elderly, or have special needs, or are wards of court, we are focused on advocating for the best care for them.
Needing help shouldn’t mean you have to give up your quality of life or independence. We help people live the lives they want with the resources they have. Let us help you.
We act as advocates for our clients—ranging from organizing records, arranging for long-term planning, or finding caregivers to managing personal and business interests and assets, or administering their trusts after they have passed. Our team has years of experience navigating public benefits programs, arranging for assisted living care, organizing personal and financial records, and providing compassionate support for people who need help.
We are especially aware that we hold a trust to protect the well-being of our clients, regardless of their age, physical or mental abilities, gender identity, or background. We are proud to support clients and their families, especially LGBTQ, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. We strive to use our skills to strengthen our clients throughout our community.
